Naya Kanga

Trip Overview

Naya Kanga, also called Ganja-la Chuli, is an attractive peak to the south of Kyanjin Gompa in the popular Langtang trek. Easy access to the region and availability of several snow peaks scattered around for acclimatization make this region an ideal destination for mountaineers. There are many small peaks in this region which require no previous climbing experience and are also suitable for trekkers those who wish to get a taste for what the big mountains have in store. From the summit a panoramic view of peaks between the border of Nepal and Tibet such Langshisa Ri Pemthang Ri Shisapangma Langtang Lirung Pemthang Kapro Ri and Langtang II can be seen.
